We plant a tree for every fabric order received via our website! This month we've chosen to again support a project in the Gishwati-Mukura Forest in Rwanda by planting a further 79 trees. With the support of Rwandan farmer Agnes Uwifashije and her local women's cooperative, this tree planting program will, in time, provide a home for chimpanzees, who have lost so much of their native habitat through illegal mining related development and deforestation.
This brings the Rubyjam Fabric Tree Planting Total up to 2505.
