Refunds, Returns and Cancellations
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately as orders are often cut and packed almost as soon as the payment confirmation is received. Buyer is responsible for any/all tariffs, duties and taxes which may be incurred. For customs purposes, all items purchased will be marked as merchandise along with the value you paid for the item. Please understand that we are unable to understate the order value on the custom's declaration as this will also understate the order value for insurance purposes.
Cancellation of Lay-buy:
Cancellation of a lay-buy will attract a A$25 restocking fee. Please understand that your fabric order will be cut and packed at the time your initial lay-buy down-payment is received. This restocking fee is intended to cover the payment processing charges, wasted packaging materials, time taken to prepare your order and verify the paperwork as well as the potential loss we may incur if failing to resell your specific order to another customer. If the total amount paid to date is less than A$25, this amount will be forfeited in lieu of the regular restocking fee. Please note that Lay-Buy is no longer offered.
Refund Policy:
In the event you receive a flawed or faulty item, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund. You may be requested to provide photos of the flawed or faulty item and/or packaging. Please read each product description carefully and feel free to ask questions if you require further information. We do not refund for change of mind. All claims for refund or replacement must be received within 30 days from delivery date (as per order tracking).
As all fabric orders are measured and cut to size, please understand that there will be no refunds, credits or exchanges if the product ordered does not match your requirements.
Accuracy of Colours:
As colours can vary when viewed on different device screens, we do our utmost to accurately photograph and describe product colours. If you are concerned, please ask for us to check colour matching between prints and solids or request a sample be sent to you prior to ordering. Occasionally there may be a small colour variation between dye lots and print runs.
Flaws and Faults:
We personally check all products when preparing your order. If you receive an incorrect product or there is a fault with a product, please contact us within seven (7) days of receiving your order. This is to maximise the chances of being able to replace your product as many fabrics are offered as a short run production and sell out quickly.
Printed knit fabric will occasionally feature small pinhead sized dots in the print, loose threads or holes very close to the selvage - this is normal and is not considered to be a flaw.
Please understand that if you have used scissors or a blade to open your order, and you accidentally cut the fabric (the usual tell tale signs are uniform cuts across the piece that line up when the fabric is refolded), we cannot be held responsible for this. Please take care when opening your order - do not use a blade or sharp instrument, instead pinch and rip the packaging. Again we cannot be held responsible if you accidentally cut into your fabric. It is very obvious when this has happened and we are unable to repair, replace or refund it in this situation.
If your fabric contains any undisclosed printing/knitting flaws that cannot be covered by an Australian five cent piece, please notify me immediately as you may qualify for a replacement or partial/full refund (depending on the flaw). Please check your fabric carefully as washed or cut fabric cannot be returned. This is not negotiable. All claims must be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of your order (as per date on tracking).
Flawed fabric may occasionally be offered at a discounted price - please check the product description carefully to ensure the noted flaws are acceptable prior to ordering. Sales are final on all fabric listed as flawed and no requests for further discounts, refund or replacement will be considered.
Returned to Sender:
In the event that your order is returned by the delivery service as unclaimed, incorrect address, etc, we will make all possible attempts to contact you for directions. Returned goods will be held for up to six months only from the date we receive the returned package and after six months will be deemed forfeited. Request for refund of these goods will not be accepted. Any costs to reship to the corrected address will be covered by the customer at face value (flat rate shipping only applies to the first attempt to ship - we cannot cover the difference a second time!). The customer may also be liable for any costs we incur for the delivery service to return the goods to us - this mainly applies to international airmail.
Goods ordered and held as 'add to stash' or laybuy orders that are not claimed within one year will be disposed of in accordance to The Uncollected Goods Act 1995.
