We are often asked if it's possible to use the larger Twisted Threads or Maxi-Lock Swirls thread spools in a regular sewing machine. The answer is YES!
You can do this in a number of ways. The easiest is to position a thread stand behind your sewing machine. Alternatively you could put the spool into a coffee cup so it doesn't bounce around and position it just behind your sewing machine, then thread the machine as usual.
